Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE — update on publish]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of powerPPT.com (the “Service”), operated by Nambirajan K. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What powerPPT.com Is
powerPPT.com is a regulatory intelligence platform for the Indian power sector. We track regulatory developments from CERC, CEA, MNRE, MoP, MHI, MoC, PIB, BEE, the Supreme Court, APTEL, and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, and publish them as summaries, one-pagers, and editable presentation kits.
The Service is offered on a Free tier (preview access) and paid Premium / Enterprise tiers (full access), as described on our Pricing page.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One individual login per Premium seat. Enterprise plans include a defined number of seats; sharing a single login across more people than your seat limit is not permitted.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used fraudulently.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
- Premium and Enterprise subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise agreed) until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us; cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.
- We may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to active subscribers; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
- Original source documents (gazette notifications, orders, regulations) are public government material and remain the property of their respective issuing authorities. We link to or reproduce them for reference purposes.
- Our summaries, one-pagers, editable presentation kits, and the Daily Power Brief are original work created by us and are protected by copyright. Premium/Enterprise access grants you a license to use these materials for your own internal business purposes (e.g., in your own presentations, board decks, or client briefings).
- You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish our proprietary content (summaries, editable kits, or Daily Brief issues) without our written permission.
- Enterprise seat-holders may share internally within their organization but not externally.
5. Accuracy and No Legal Advice
- We take care to track and summarize regulatory developments accurately, but the Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
- Regulatory content can change or be superseded. Always verify against the original gazette/notification before relying on any summary for a decision with legal or financial consequences.
- We are not liable for actions taken based on information provided through the Service. See Section 7 (Limitation of Liability).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access premium content without a valid subscription (including by circumventing access controls);
- Scrape, systematically extract, or redistribute our content at scale;
- Use the Service to build a competing product;
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, powerPPT.com and Nambirajan K. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to business losses arising from reliance on regulatory summaries. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
